Enrollments are open for our May 2024 course!

Payment plans are available.

Welcome to my Myofunctional Therapy Training Course.

I’ve completely redesigned this course, so much so that I don’t consider it an “Introductory” course anymore!

The new course draws on the latest research in the field, and I cover sleep apnea, orthodontics, and tongue-tie protocols in detail. These specific topics are powering myofunctional therapy into the mainstream, and understanding how to address them is critical in any myofunctional therapy practice.

This course is designed to allow graduates to start seeing patients from the day they graduate and to have ongoing support and encouragement. So I’ll cover everything you need to know to bring myofunctional therapy into a dental practice or to take the leap and start your own practice.

The course lasts for about four months in total, with 24 calls over 12 active teaching weeks, so it's very comprehensive. Over 1,000 hygienists, dentists, SLPs, and other healthcare professionals have completed my course so far.

In addition, because myofunctional therapy ties into so many parts of the overall health equation, I’ve expanded the course to include information from a wide range of health professionals such as:

Dr. Soroush Zaghi, one of the leading doctors currently treating tongue-ties, and one of the founders of The Breathe Institute, based in LA. The Breathe Institute is doing some of the most ground-breaking research in the field.

Dr. Ben Lynch, who wrote the excellent Dirty Genes book. Dr. Lynch is a world expert on the MTHFR gene mutation and the role it plays in tongue-ties.

Naudi Aguilar, CEO of Functional Patterns, who’s breaking new ground in human biomechanics, posture, and structure.

My courses usually fill up completely! The next one starts on May 18th, 2024. It would be great to have you join us!

The registration rate for this extremely comprehensive and effective course is $2,650. Payment plans are available, and multiple-student discounts are available.

Six Reasons Why MyoMentor Is Unique

More Than Just Training

This program involves long-term, continued guidance and support throughout your career. That's what I was looking for when I was a new therapist. MyoMentor is so much more than just training! My program gives students the ongoing support and encouragement they need to be successful myofunctional therapists.

Research-Driven

Scientific research must be the foundation of myofunctional therapy! That’s what I’m working towards with Dr Zaghi and the team at The Breathe Institute. MyoMentor is the only program that gives students the opportunity to participate in research and have first-hand access to studies before they are even published.

Continued Support

As a MyoMentor graduate, you get to be part of the MyoMentor community and benefit from our extensive, continued support. We offer five different study groups, our Ambassador Program designed to offer additional learning, plus our private Facebook group is an amazing resource.

Job Placement

My network allows me to connect MyoMentor graduates with airway-focused dentists all over the world. Every day, dentists ask me how they can work with or hire a MyoMentor graduate. I love connecting professionals and helping them build their local teams and communities.

Modern Therapy

My approach to therapy is streamlined, simplified, and effective. My philosophy is to give patients the fewest number of exercises that are also the most effective. I'll teach you to focus on technique and compensations. I’ve even eliminated many commonly used but outdated exercises that are still being taught in the field.

Community

It's been my mission to build a community of professionals who support and encourage each other. As a group, we can succeed and go so much further than as individuals. Once you become part of the MyoMentor community, you'll have supportive friends and colleagues from all over the world.

How It All Works

I specifically designed this course for busy, working healthcare professionals. It’s unique because it’s meant to be completed in small increments over a period of time. This way, each topic can be absorbed, fully understood, and then practiced in a clinical setting.

I’ve identified the 12 essential topics that you’ll need to learn in order to practice as a confident and competent myofunctional therapist. I’ve broken these 12 key topics down into easy-to-understand, one-hour sessions that we’ll work through together, once a week. So you have a full week to concentrate on each topic before we meet for the next. All the calls are recorded so you'll be able to catch up if you miss a session, and you'll be able to review them any time you like.

Later in the week, you’ll also have the opportunity to join me in a group call. This is where all the students in the program collaborate and share their experiences. This means that in addition to our weekly, one-hour meetings, you gain access to a group of like-minded and motivated people, all going through the program together. We’ll discuss what came up for you over the course of the week, and I’ll answer any questions on the topic.

I'll teach you my specific programs and exercise sequences for all kinds of patients - both adults and children, ranging from the relatively simple cases to the ones who are tongue-tied, have TMJ and other pain issues, or those who have sleep apnea and other sleep-disordered breathing conditions.

You'll have access to my full document resource library, which contains research material, examples of my practice documentation, marketing collateral, and a lot of other useful information.

Plus you'll be able to access my online video library, which will help guide you through all the therapy sessions and show you exactly how I break down the programs to integrate my Four Goals of Myofunctional Therapy. The video library also contains quick reference exercise videos, so if you ever need to revise a particular exercise, you'll be able to at any time in the future.

You'll also be part of the private MyoMentor Facebook Group, which has proven to be an incredible resource - it’s definitely one of the best myofunctional therapy resources on the internet. It's a great way for all the graduates and students of my programs to share information, ask questions, and get support and encouragement.

And you can join our Ambassador Program for continued learning, plus we offer monthly study groups for new and intermediate therapists, as well as more general study groups for all graduates.

Because this is so much more than a training course, it’s important to me that you feel fully supported and guided during our time together AND after you graduate.
